Calzones

3 Tbsp. yeast
4 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 Tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 c warm water
3 Tbsp Italian seasoning
2 Tbsp garlic powder
mix all ingredients,, knead til dough forms a ball. Place dough in an oiled bowl, let rise for about an hour, covered. Fill with filling and bake 400 degrees for around 25-30 min.

We like to use all kinds of fillings, favorites are ricotta cheese, olive and salami. Others are tuna, celery with cheddar cheese. Another is mozzarella, sausage and mushrooms, just whatever is good. You can also do ham and cheese and you can eat those for quick breakfasts. after you cook all of them I put them in a ziploc bag, double bagged and then kids can nuke them or you can reheat them all in the oven
